Based on the outcomes of the Snapshot votes on 07/01/22 (see below), the following regulations regarding Guests will now be enforced by Miami Tech Runs DAO for our token-gated runs and events:
Guest Regulations
- Guests will be allowed all the time (in-season AND off-season).
- Kids (≤12) and seniors (≥65) will continue to be allowed to attend token-gated events, even after the max # of visits has been hit.

How to Bring a Guest?
An automated software solution will be built out in order to monitor guests. The following steps will be set up for MTR members to bring guests to token-gated runs/events:
- Member will login to a MTR member-only portal.
- Member will request an invite link for their Guest.
- Member will send invite link to their Guest.
- Guest will complete Sign-Up Form:
- Name
- Email
- Ethereum Compatible Wallet Address (Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow)
- Will provide information on how to set up a wallet for those who do not have one yet.
- Guest will be presented with their guest pass QR code.
- Guest will also get a POAP (NFT) sent to their wallet.
- At MTR Run/Event, Operations will scan guest pass QR code to check in Guest.
- If QR code is not scanned by the end of the run, due to the guest not showing up, it will be invalidated.
