Prior to this, from the launch of MTR in June 2021 and over the past few months, numerous members have stepped up and actively played a role in the organization and success of MTR at zero cost to the DAO (no bounties). This season, we’re introducing bounties to properly compensate members for their effort and contribution. This proposal is specifically regarding the 12 committee leads that were recently elected for Season 3.
Originally, the plan was for each lead to be compensated $2,000 USD worth of $MTR tokens per month. That would equate to $96,000 in total leadership labor cost for the season ($2,000/month/lead x 4 months x 12 leads). After the community meeting on Mon 8/1, concern was brought up that this amount may be too high with no clearly set goals for revenue. The leadership team met and decided a base pay with an incentive-based approach may be best in order to justify the compensation.
All leads will be paid in tokens, not USD. All amounts will be $xxx USD worth of $MTR tokens.

<aside> 🤔 Reasoning behind proposed structure? 50% member growth. 50% revenue. Currently, the membership for 56 new members is approximately equivalent to $100,000 USD. At $4,000 per lead x 12 leads, $48,000 USD worth of $MTR tokens in commission is ~50% of that. Same goes for revenue.

For Season 3, there are 30 new members, and $30,000 in additional revenue is made.
