Based on the Snapshot vote that closed on 03/11/2022, our Miami Tech Runs community voted to drop the “S1” out of $MTRS1 and create a permanent $MTR contract that is not tied to a particular season. The proposal was made in order to increase the total number of potential MTR members and to provide adequate liquidity to compensation pools for contributing members. The new $MTR token will be launched at the beginning of Season 3, and more information will be presented soon regarding this.
Based on the Snapshot vote that closed on 07/09/2022, our Miami Tech Runs community approved the proposed MTR Committees, Leadership Positions, and Guidelines / Requirements of Leadership. A set leadership team and committees will be put together in order to assist in the guidance, organization, and growth of this DAO so we can continue to scale and succeed.
Prior to this, from the launch of MTR in June 2021 and over the past few months, numerous members have stepped up and actively played a role in the organization and success of MTR at zero cost to the DAO (no bounties). This season, we’re introducing bounties to properly compensate members for their effort and contribution. Additional Snapshot votes will be conducted to determine the bounties budget for Season 3.
